Gig Mode Shortcuts
Let a Shortcut silence notifications when a show starts and bring them back when it ends.
Gig Mode Shortcuts are off until you set them up. Segue can’t switch a Focus on by itself, so it runs Shortcuts you own when a show starts and ends.
Set them up
Section titled “Set them up”- In the Shortcuts app, make a Shortcut called “Gig Mode On” that uses the Set Focus action to turn on Do Not Disturb, and another called “Gig Mode Off” that turns it off.
- In Segue, open Settings > Live. Under Gig Mode Shortcuts, choose them for On show start and On show end.
- Press Test. The first time, macOS asks whether Segue may control Shortcuts: click OK.

Shortcuts can do more than Focus: turn the brightness up, or quit apps that might pop up during a set.
The checklist row
Section titled “The checklist row”With a start Shortcut set, the pre-show checklist has a Focus row. It ticks only when Segue knows the Shortcut actually ran. If Segue can’t confirm it, tick the row yourself.
Why Shortcuts may flash
Section titled “Why Shortcuts may flash”macOS may bring the Shortcuts app forward for a moment while it runs your Shortcut. Segue comes straight back to the front.
If it doesn’t run
Section titled “If it doesn’t run”If you clicked Don’t Allow, turn Segue on under System Settings > Privacy & Security > Automation (Segue’s Open Automation Settings… button takes you there).
